Especially when the weather is amazing (which is quite often living in California), I love sitting out on the patio in my backyard! We have a lovely little conversation set where it makes our space feel like an outdoor living room. It’s a great spot to do some reading, drink some tea, surf the web, and take in the scenery (meaning looking at all the beautiful plants I’ve grown in the garden!)…and of course, it’s a great spot to hang out and chat!
One of my favorite, favorite, FAVORITE things to do out here is wake up early on a sunny morning, grab a large cup of coffee, and flip through a few magazines. Nothing beats the quiet, still sound at that time, the perfect temperature outside, and the refreshing, cold morning air.
All in all, this one spot in my backyard where I can unwind or hang out with family and friends and just enjoy myself. In the summer especially, I spend so much more time out there.
As you guys know, I like to travel! In the summer, I always dream of making my way down to the warmer beaches (I love the Bay Area but our beautiful, picturesque beaches are often just freezing!) and really just exploring what California has to offer. I love driving down the freeway with summer music blasting and being care-free. It’s a refreshing change of pace.
A few hours south from here, a town called Santa Maria, exists. Much of this quiet area is farmland with great weather, but there is a beautiful winery out there called Cambria Estate Winery®. Cambria is a place like no other. It’s filled with a rich culture and lifestyle and their wines can transport you to your happy place.
Cambria Estate Winery® is family owned winery, and they are an estate winery…meaning, they make wine from their own vineyards. Cambria's hand-crafted wines are quite popular––Cambria has received more than 150 reviews of 90+ scores in the last 20 years. That is a promising track record right there.
There are some fan favorites among Cambria's unique wines. Some of their most popular wines are a Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir, and Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay.
Be sure to check them out! Visit the Cambria blog for terrific recipes, DIY tips and news from the Cambria Estate Winery Vineyards
