Got my December Birchbox last week, but with all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, I’m only now getting a chance to share my box with you guys! Here’s what I got in my box:
- BORGHESE Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara

- Hair Rules Quench Conditioner – 16 oz
- Pura Botanica Botanic Bath Infusions
As soon as I opened my box, the pungent peppermint scent of the Pura Botanica Botanic Bath Infusions spread into the room. It’s a perfect item to receive in December since it is peppermint-scented. Plus, taking a warm bath is probably one of the most perfect ways someone can relax and unwind during this cold (and hectic) time of year.
I was excited to receive the Borghese mascara because I’ve always wanted to try Borghese and I’ve also recently been having a love affair with mascara. I actually got a sample of some Buxom mascara and WOW does it make a big difference.
The willa towelettes are a welcome addition to my box since I use facial towelettes to remove my makeup every night. I’m looking for something that does a better job of removing makeup without drying out my skin! I hope these towelettes are the answer.
While I’m happy with my conditioner, I’m hoping that this conditioner by Hair Rules moisturizes my hair without weighing it down (I have thick hair but fine hairs).
And lastly, I received a chocolate covered fortune cookie by Emily’s. I still haven’t tried it but I think it’s great idea! I do think it’s going to be a calorie bomb but hey, it’s the holidays. What isn’t a calorie bomb this season?
