Hi Everyone!
Happy Sunday! Today, my friends and I are heading to the Renegade Craft Fair where we will be strolling by booths of handmade goods. I’ve always wanted to go and this time will be my first time going. I cannot contain the excitement! Yesterday, I was bursting into sporadic moments of excitement, which is so unlike me! I’ll tell you all about it when I get a moment.
Since today is Sunday, here are my favorite posts from around the web that caught my eye:
10-Minute Lasagna – It’s summer and to be honest, I’m not really thinking about lasagna, pasta, or any other heavy comfort food. It’s too hot to think about that! But, I’m definitely bookmarking this 10-Minute Lasagna recipe from Gimme Some Oven for when it gets a little cooler outside! A warm lasagna feels like a piece of heaven in the winter and I’m all for any lasagna recipe that takes only 10 minutes to prep.
Perfect Pizza Dough – Pizza is my #1. Not my “#1 favorite food,” but my #1. So it’s pretty important to me that my pizza is as amazing as possible. The next time I get an itch to make pizza from scratch at home, I’ll be pulling up this pizza dough recipe to try it out and see just how amazing it is! I’m a big fan of margherita pizza and love making it at home.
DIY Aztec Table Runner – I’m so impressed by this painted burlap table runner! It doesn’t look too difficult to make, and it looks absolutely stunning on this tablescape. It would be lovely to have this table runner across a long table during a dinner party, don’t you think?
DIY Decorative Oyster Shells – When I went on vacation recently, I picked up a bunch of beautiful, large shells that I fell in love with at the beach. I couldn’t bear to part with them and I protected them during my travels by stowing them in my backpack!
Now I have a bunch of beautiful (albeit stinky!) shells that I want to transform into something that showcases its beauty but also functions as something more than a pretty shell. Instead of putting all the shells into a woven basket and setting it on a dresser or tabletop (that’s a little too easy!), I’d love to make something like this! Bree did a beautiful job of making these shells functional, and in my opinion, she made these shells even more beautiful.
Those are my favorites for this week! Have a lovely Sunday!
