Hope you all are enjoying your weekend! It’s been a little gloomy here lately and we’ve even had a little rain, so all I want to do is stay in! It’s been a long while since I’ve done a Favorite Finds post! Here are a few of my favorite posts I wanted to share.
This is such a creative way to decorate a rug! It’s so playful and bright. Plus, I love donuts and donut decor. Because you can get the rug at Ikea, you can probably make this at home for a good price! Definitely a fun weekend project.
What an awesome phrase to stencil onto a cake. A chocolate cake at that. Any project with a Parks and Recreation reference gets a gold star in my book though. I love the idea of using powdered sugar too instead of icing or fondant to write on the cake.
Emily from A Nutritionist Eats has a post of 5 Trader Joe’s Meals you can make with 5 ingredients or less (most of them only use 3 ingredients!). Not only are these meals healthy, but you can get all the ingredients at one store. Plus, each of these meals ring in around 500 calories or under. You can enjoy foods like a Tortilla Pizza or Pasta with Mushrooms & Parmesan and not wreck your diet.
Chipotle salsa! I’ve been eating a lot more tortilla chips + salsa lately and a chipotle salsa sounds like it has just the kind of kick in flavor I’m looking for! Chipotle salsa and guacamole sound so good right now.
Paprika pairs so well with roasted potatoes and roasted chickpeas. Having them in a salad seems like a great idea! I’d probably switch it up and use spinach instead of arugula because I love spinach! Or I’d try it with kale, but I think that any green leafy vegetable in general would work well. This would be a healthy and filling lunch or dinner!
Have a great Sunday, everyone!
