My Birchbox arrived last weekend right before I left on my trip to LA, so I’ve been a little delayed in posting what I got. This month’s box was sponsored by Us Weekly, which is perfect because it’s awards season right now.

I got some pretty cool items in my box!

SARAHPOTEMPA The HALF-UP™ 
This hair styling tool assists in securing up dos, “half-up” hair, and low buns. You can even do a ballerina bun with this tool! Mine came in black which will camouflage in my hair.

Miracle Skin Transformer Face Spotlight SPF 20 
This is actually my second Sarah McNamara product. I’ve been seeing this skincare line starting to appear in more stores, so I know that the stuff works and is rising in popularity. BUT I haven’t tried it yet.

Joan Vass L’eau de Opale 
Yet another fragrance from Birchbox! Not much to say here.

OPI Sheer Tints Color-Tinted Top Coat 
This is the first tinted top coat I’ve ever seen! Use it to change your regular nail polish or layer over white to get pink nails. I’m going to try using this to do an ombre/gradient nail look.

32 Oral Care Effervescent Breath Crystals with IsoVoxy – 15 Count 
Breath Crystals! I’ve never heard of these, but they are supposed to actually kill the bacteria in your mouth that cause bad breath instead of just mask bad breath. You swish the crystals around in your mouth and crush them against your teeth. Cool idea!

Overall, I’m pretty happy with my box this month. I’m definitely eager to try the top coat and the Half-Up!
