Hello, everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done a Life Lately update for you all. Things have been busy busy busy and there has been lots going on! I’ve got a short list of things I want to share with you all:
Little Book of Hygge – It’s pronounced “hoo-ga.” I just finished reading this book. The Danes really take comfort and coziness to the next level with their culture of hygge. A light and enjoyable yet informative read, this book exceeded my expectations! I went back and forth on whether to buy this book, but I found it worthwhile and have even been passing the book along to friends and family. I’ve been trying to adopt some hygge practices in my own lifestyle and it’s been awesome!
A Quick Little Trip to Stockholm – If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen some cool photos of Stockholm! We went to Stockholm for a short spring break vacation and it was really nice to experience a new culture, do some touristy things, and get out of the area for a while. I’m working on a post for you all about the trip! Look for that coming soon!
Vegetable Garden – I’m starting a vegetable garden. Well, sort of. I’m committed to the idea of growing some veggies at home, but I haven’t invested in raised garden beds, compost, irrigation systems, etc. I’m growing zucchini, cucumbers, green bell peppers, jalapeños, cilantro, basil, and lavender right now. We’ll see what I don’t kill and then add more veggies to the garden based on that!
It’ll be really nice to not have to constantly purchase these veggies at the grocery store or farmer’s market. Do you any grow veggies or herbs at home? Any advice to give someone who is a newbie?
Parabo Press – I’m not affiliated with Parabo Press in any way, but I wanted to pass along a deal they have! You can get 25 free square prints just for the cost of shipping. I just sent in a 25 photos to print, including vacation photos, and can’t wait for them to come in. I ordered a photo book from Parabo back in December and just leave it on the coffee table to look at from time to time. It’s nice to physically flip through a book instead of swipe through my phone.
That’s pretty much the “cool” stuff I have to share with you all! Below are some really good, informative links you should check out.
