For my March Julep Maven box, I went with the “It Girl”. They stopped offering the “American Beauty” box and have replaced it with the “Modern Beauty” box that only features products. Since I knew I would have less to choose from this month, I had doubts I would find a box I liked.
Turns out, I loved the “It Girl” box! I didn’t really care for the lip balm since I’m loyal to one particular lip balm but it’s a pretty cool extra to receive.
Funny enough, I actually have almost duplicates of each color (Teri, Shenae, and Simone) from Essie. However, Shenae and Simone have a little more of a metallic look than Turquoise & Caicos and Lilacism by Essie. Sometimes, I find the consistency of my Essie polishes difficult to work with because they weren’t purchased from the best places so I am excited to see try out the Julep ones.
