My November Birchbox has finally made its way to my home. This month’s theme is all about giving back. Birchbox is partnering with (RED) to raise money and awareness for the fight against AIDS. They will be making a $15,000 donation and will donate an additional $1 every time a subscriber shares a photo of the facts with #shaRED. Pretty cool way to give back, and it’s pretty easy for subscribers to pitch in, too.
This month, I got 5 items (6 including the bonus!).
- Eslor Firming Collagen Day Cream
- Harvey Prince Hello Shampoo
- Harvey Prince Hello Conditioner
- MAKE Eye Makeup Remover
- theBalm cosmetics Cindy-Lou Manizer
Sooo I’ve started to receive anti-aging products in my Birchbox. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or bad thing, but I’ve been trying out some of the products and am taking a liking to them. That being said, I’m pretty excited to try the Eslor Firming Collagen Day Cream. It’s supposed to keep wrinkles away and boost skin elasticity. And it’s a pretty generous sample for an $85 cream. Score!
The Harvey Prince Shampoo and Conditioner will be good to take with me if I go somewhere for vacation next month. The travel size is perfect and the products work for any hair type. The products are sulfate-free, making it color-safe.
I love receiving MAKE products. I was introduced to this brand by Birchbox and I absolutely love their packaging. This Eye Makeup Remover has gotten some great reviews and I’m excited to try it. I often find that regular makeup removers don’t do a great job of removing my eye makeup, so I’m ready to give this a shot and see how it does.
While the sample is pretty small, this luminizer by theBalm has a soft pink shade and will help create a natural looking glow. It’s not like we are supposed to use a lot of highlighter anyway. And it’s the perfect shade for the holidays, coming in “Cindy Lou-manizer”. I really hope you get the reference, but if you don’t, that’s ok too.
That’s it! Can’t wait to see what the December box has in store for me. The holiday boxes are always the best.
