Have you heard of the Julep Maven box? It’s a monthly nail polish subscription to the top quality nail laquer brand Julep, with nail polishes at a far cheaper price than retail. Each nail polish normally retails at $14 on their website, Julep.com, and at Sephora.
Once a month, you can choose from 5 themed boxes, where each box promises at least $40 worth of products, for a price of $19.99.
What I love about Julep Maven:
- You can choose to skip a month if you would like, with no penalty (as long as your skip during the specified period)
- You can view ALL the polishes in ALL 5 themed boxes before selecting. This way, you can select whichever box suits your taste for that month.
- You can choose to send your Maven box to a friend.
- It’s ALL NAIL POLISH, and maybe a couple of beauty products, but it’s completely focused on nail polish.
This month, I chose the “Maven’s Choice” box which features the beautiful polishes: Lisa [warm gray], Eloise [blue], and Keira [oxblood]. These colors are totally on trend for fall! As an extra, Julep sent all their subscribers two little pots of glitter, black and orange, to be used for nail art. They also sent over some candy corn (which I love!).
Since this was my first REAL month with Julep Maven, I was offered an add-on for no additional cost. I chose the Julep Quick Dry Polish Drops. There’s something very agonizing about waiting for nail polish to dry–the longer it takes to dry, the more chances there are to smudge!
All in all, I’m quite excited for my box this month. I’m looking forward to using the Keira polish, since that shade of red seems to be my favorite color this season.
