Happy Sunday! The weather here has been really great lately, which has got me thinking a lot about summer. Yesterday, I found myself craving a fresh glass of homemade lemonade. Low and behold, my Pink Lemonade with Fruit Ice creation!
Pink Lemonade with Fruit Ice (Serving Size: 1 Mason Jar)
- 1 medium-sized lemon
- Water
- Sugar (optional, if you want something to sweeten your drink)
- Fruit Ice Cubes, featuring raspberries. The raspberries give the lemonade their color.
Instead of just adding raspberries directly to the lemonade I added fruit ice. In my berry-filled ice, I just added blueberries and raspberries but I can’t stop dreaming of how delicious strawberries and blackberries would be in the mix. Yum.
Fruit Ice:
- Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- Raspberries (fresh or frozen)
Then (obviously) add your fruit ice to your lemonade and voila! Watch the raspberry fruit ice diffuse into the lemonade beautifully. It will quickly turn pink. I also added a lemon slice for fun.
Ahh, a fresh taste of summer. Wouldn’t vodka be a great addition? I think so!
