I finally got my hands on the September PopSugar Must Have box! I was actually supposed to receive it sometime next week according to my delivery estimate and ended up getting it much earlier. Thanks, FedEx!
Looks like PopSugar is finally saying goodbye to summer, which is bittersweet. I love summer and I’m having a hard time letting go of it as you all know, but I am definitely ready to receive some autumn goodies from PopSugar. We’ve been seeing summer must-haves since April! I don’t need any more summery things right now.
This month was an especially good month for a PopSugar box when it comes to value. We got two good extras in the box, one of which is a $20 gift card. Here’s what the box contained:
Tilo Scarves – Modal Gradation Scarf in Raisin – $125 – This high-end, luxurious scarf is soft, yet thick enough to keep you warm. I wasn’t in love with the gradation when I first saw the scarf in the sneak peek email, but the scarf looks beautiful in person. The material is high quality and according to the information card, it’s hand-dyed. It’s neutral tone will match just about anything! Tilo Scarves are sold at select places like Saks Fifth Avenue and Fred Segal. Similar here
Nicole Miller – Stereo Earbuds – $20 – I haven’t tried these out yet, but I can’t say I expect a lot from these earbuds. The cobalt blue shade is beautiful, but I’m skeptical about the sound quality. On the plus side they have the remote that let’s you answer calls or change your music, just like the iPhone earbuds, making this set of earbuds very useful. They will probably go straight to my gym bag! Shown in Black here
Urban Remedy Almond Brownie – $6 – This raw almond brownie looks very healthy! It’s 100% organic and made with the best quality ingredients from Urban Remedy. It took a bite or two to get used to the taste because all the ingredients are raw but I ultimately really liked the brownie. I had it has a quick breakfast and I felt energized for much longer than when I have my maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal.
We were also given a $10 gift card to use on purchases of $50+!
Oribe – Superfine Purse Size Hair Spray – $21.50 – This hairspray is a celebrity favorite and while I don’t believe I’ll be toting this hair spray around in my purse the way the name suggests, I’m glad to have a good hair spray for when I travel. I’ve only heard good things about this brand so I’m happy to finally have it.
Letter C Design – Gold Foil Arrow Pencils – $5 – These pencils are undoubtedly cute and simple but I don’t think I’d be able to justify paying $5 for 5 wooden pencils if I were to have purchased this item. In fact, they seem pretty simple to DIY. That would be a fun, quick project for an afternoon.
Rifle Paper Co. – Garance Doré Assorted Girls Set – $18 – I was ecstatic when I saw I got something from Rifle Paper Co.! I love anything Anna Bond has a part in making. These beautiful, elegant cards feature iconic illustrations in a partnership with Garance Doré. Love it!
Now, for the bonuses:
$20 Nike Gift Card – This pretty much cuts the price of the box in half! In a cute packaged envelope, we were given a measuring tape and instructions on where to find fitting instructions for a Nike Pro Bra. $20 is a significant savings! And, I’m a fan of Nike’s sports apparel.
Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Sea Salt & Almond Minis – I wasn’t very impressed when I got Ghirardelli chocolate in my first PopSugar box, but I have been curious to see how these little mini chocolates are since they are a new product. I’m definitely a fan! You can have 5 pieces per 200 calorie serving. Not bad. And one piece is all you need to hit the spot.
After assigning a $3 value to the chocolate, this month’s box had a whopping value of $219! That’s insane for a $40 box. I’m definitely impressed with not only how much I got, but the quality of what I got.
Did you like this month’s PopSugar box?
